Gardner Rehab Programs

We offer several levels of care at our drug and alcohol rehab in Gardner, Massachusetts. Our outpatient treatment means each person travels to our facility for their treatment sessions and then returns to their homes. This means they don’t have to move into a residential program and leave home for several weeks. The types of levels of outpatient care we offer include:

PHP

Our highest level of care (Partial Hospitalization Program), is similar to residential care. It takes place Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

IOP

Less structured than PHP, Intensive Outpatient Programming still provides multiple types of therapy to help people learn to stay sober.

Evening IOP

The same as our Daytime IOP but fits the needs of those who have daytime obligations. Sessions take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Outpatient Rehab

This includes attending a minimal number of therapy sessions per week to prepare the person to conclude addiction treatment.

How We Treat Drug and Alcohol Addiction

When someone faces the challenges that come with giving up an addiction to drugs or alcohol, they need more than just one type of therapy. In fact, the more therapy modalities a person attends, the better their chances become to stay sober for life. For this reason, we include a wide menu of therapies as part of our drug and alcohol rehab in Gardner, Massachusetts. Some are traditional therapies long used to help people overcome substance use disorders, while others are modern approaches that use the latest technologies.

Understanding The Addiction Epidemic in Massachusetts

While it can be easy to get lost in the beauty of both the urban and wilderness areas of Massachusetts, the state has not escaped the plague of substance use disorders that impact the rest of the country. For example, overdose deaths related to opioid drugs in Massachusetts rose by 2.5% in 2022 over 2021. Other statistics related to the need for quality drug and alcohol rehab in Gardner, Massachusetts, include:

  • 93% of fatal opioid overdoses in 2022 included the presence of fentanyl. Cocaine was also present in 53% of the related toxicology reports.
  • 213,000 Massachusetts residents experienced an illicit drug use disorder during 2017-2019.
  • 369,000 Massachusetts residents experienced an alcohol use disorder during 2017-2019.
  • In a single-day count done in 2019, a total of 66,912 people in Massachusetts were enrolled in treatment for substance abuse, which is an increase of 21,474 people in 2015.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide compassionate, judgment-free professional treatment via evidence-based therapies that target each person’s ability to choose a sober life.

We chose a location in a scenic part of the state because we believe a beautiful backdrop like Gardner enhances a person’s ability to include nature as part of their treatment plan.

Residential care requires temporarily leaving your family, job, and other responsibilities for 30 days or more. Outpatient therapy allows a person to live at home and take care of their daily lives while still fitting in valuable addiction treatment.

How long a person remains in treatment depends on the severity of their addiction, the progress they make, and the specific program they attend. In general, treatment will last from two to four weeks per level of care.
