About Jack Maroney

Jack holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHCA), is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC1) and during his nearly 30 years of experience in addiction treatment has acquired an extensive understanding in assessment, authorization, financial management, licensing, real estate acquisition and operations.

Jack is the president and CEO of Creative Addiction Recovery Estates, a company dedicated to providing dignified environments of care to those suffering from substance use disorders and a managing member of Evergreen Behavioral LLC dba Woburn Wellness, an outpatient BSAS Licensed and Joint Commission accredited substance use disorder clinic. Jack was the creative director and founder of Spring Hill Recovery Center, a holistic SUD treatment facility, situated on a 70-acre campus in a bucolic hilltop setting and the visionary and founder for the Recovery Centers of America Westminster facility, a state-of-the-art detoxification and residential campus in the heart of North Central Massachusetts.

Jack has served on several non-profit boards in various capacities, most recently as the past president for the Massachusetts Sober Housing Corporation, an organization with a mission to acquire residential properties to provide sober living opportunities using the nationally recognized Oxford House Model. Jack provided financial advice and guidance as treasurer of the Mosaic Cultural Complex, a grass roots organization dedicated to eliminating disparities in health care among minorities and was a co-founder of the Latin American Health Alliance, an organization aimed at addressing substance use among minorities.

On a more personal note, Jack and two of his lifelong friends have coauthored The East Side of Addiction, an internationally acclaimed and compelling historical peek into drug use starting in the early 60’s, in an American inner-city neighborhood.
