About Natalie Tincknell, MSW

Natalie Tincknell, MSW, is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a passion for working with vulnerable populations in the form of client-centered and strength-based approaches of social work and psychology. She brings extensive experience and knowledge of the field of human services in both academic and direct clinical capacities, with a focus in adults with substance abuse and trauma. She values the connection between the mind and the body through mindfulness practices, while incorporating eclectic therapeutic interventions in her work with both individuals and groups.

Natalie received her BA in psychology at Clark University, receiving High Honors for her independent research on the impacts of sexual trauma. She went on to work as a registered behavior technician with children on the autism spectrum and their families, while balancing a position as a graduate student at Boston University and research assistant with UMass Medical School. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Boston University in 2023, which included advanced clinical internships working with survivors of sexual trauma and adults with substance use disorders.

Natalie brings genuine care and empathy of all people to her clinical practice with individuals and groups. She holds a deep understanding and passion for social work, psychology, and the complex systems and dynamics that every person exists within. In addition to her love for human services, Natalie adores spending time outdoors with friends and family, and cozying up with her two cats, her dog Bear, and her partner to watch a show on the couch.
