Francesca received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Elon University and continued her journey back home in Worcester at Assumption University to receive her master’s in clinical counseling, where she obtained a background in cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, substance use treatment and found her specialty in treating depression and anxiety disorders.

Francesca is passionate about finding ways to make recovery attainable, successful, sustainable, but most importantly fun for all individuals who seek support. She is a big supporter of the holistic approach to treatment, and holds certificates as an Addiction Recovery Fitness Specialist, sound bowl healing, and Forest Therapy. 

Over the years, Francesca has developed a client-centered approach to treatment through her time serving individuals at hospitals, residential programs, outpatient community support, and now at Lake Ave. 

Be careful though, Francesca is also an avid nature and animal enthusiast and self-certified tree hugger who will gladly talk your ear off about hiking, fitness, hockey, her golf game, and plants.
