Meet Catherine Collins! Cathy joined the incredible team here at Lake Ave Recovery with one thing on her mind: Changing Lives!
In long-term recovery herself, as well as over a decade of experience working in the fields of addiction and recovery, Cathy has become a pillar of strength in the recovery community, leading by example. She is a strong believer in maintaining sobriety through fellowship. Despite 23 years of sobriety under her belt, Cathy continues to value the power of community support and regularly attends meetings, while encouraging others to do the same and reach out for help no matter their stage in recovery.
Cathy is passionate about volunteer work and has worked with a number of non-profit organizations. She currently serves on the board of the Granada House, a non-profit organization committed to helping people in recovery live successful and productive lives.
Outside of work, Cathy is an avid walker and enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, her two step-children and four adoring grandchildren. She also enjoys listening to podcast, taking scenic photos and reading, memoirs in particular. Cathy is a cat lover, and is looking for the next feline to come in to her life and steal her heart.
