What is Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization Program?

At Lake Ave Recovery, our Day Treatment Program (also known as Partial Hospitalization Program) is our most comprehensive level of care that meets 6 days a week from 9 AM to 3 PM. It offers a trauma informed holistic approach to drug and alcohol treatment. Through an individualized treatment plan designed around your strengths, abilities and preferences we address your specific needs and work to figure out why other treatment programs may not have worked in the past. Day treatment allows for individuals to focus on developing lifelong recovery skills while maintaining structure to maximize the recovery environment and minimize exposure to high-risk encounters.

At Lake Ave Recovery, you have the option to partake in a number of experiential or mindfulness activities, including rides on our boat, nature walks, light strength and fitness training, yoga, Tai-Chi, Qigong, massage, reiki or a variety of new and ever-changing activities. Our on-site therapy dogs assist our clinical professional team in providing the comforting and uplifting atmosphere we pride ourselves on.

Each day ends with a wrap-up session, ensuring you understand your progress in treatment and feel comfortable returning for another positive and productive day.
